Practical Inquisition – April 9 – TOMORROW
Come hear Biola University professor Dr. Scott Smith answer the question: Won’t living a good moral life get me into heaven? Dr. Smith graduated from USC with a Ph.D. in Religion and Social Ethics. He has been a professor at Biola University for the past fourteen years teaching courses in ethics, philosophy of religion, relativism and postmodernism, research and writing, and philosophy constructivism and phenomenology. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Intervarsity 24 Hour Prayer Night:
The Intervarsity Christian Fellowship ministry that is on campus at the U of R is hosting a 24 hour prayer night from 7pm on April 11 to 7pm on April 12. This event will take place in Fine Arts 107. You are more than welcome to join in anytime. If you would like to sign up for a specific time please do so on this Google Doc: April 11-12, 2014 Prayer Vigil and Arsty Worship Sign-Up Sheet. Immediately following the prayer night will be a worship time in that room. If anyone wants to participate in artsy-worship night, they can get on the program by emailing Debbie French at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Broomball – Wednesday, May 14
We will be meeting on the chapel steps at 6:45 pm and heading to Ice Town in Riverside for a night of broomball! We will be celebrating the graduating High School Seniors as they move into Praxis!
